As outlined in their roadmap, the Lazy Lions released a free bungalow NFT to all lion holders toward the end of September. These free NFTs were available to claim (+gas) and were the perfect dimensions for the owner’s Twitter header image. Up until now, if a holder wanted to edit their bungalow, they needed photo-editing software, such as Photoshop, along with the skills to edit the image.
Thankfully, the Lazy Lions developers have rolled out their new Lazy Bungalow dApp that allows a user to display their NFT collection in only a few clicks – no design experience necessary! This dApp is the first of its kind and it really speaks to the inclusive & supportive nature of the Lazy Lions as it allows users to showcase NFTs from different projects.
Let’s take a look at how the dApp works and how you can display your NFTs for everyone to see.
A dApp (or Decentralized Application) is an app that is built and runs on a blockchain network.
Step One: Connect Your Wallet
First, head on over to bungalows.lazylionsnft.com. From there, click on the Connect Your Wallet button and give the website permission to connect to your wallet.
Step Two: Choose Your Bungalow
Next, choose the bungalow that you would like to use. If you have several bungalows, click on the ‘+‘ symbol to expand and view more. Then, simply click on a bungalow to begin modifying it.
Step Three: Add Your NFTs to Your Bungalow
Now, for the fun part. Hover over the picture frames on the wall of your bungalow and click on ‘+‘. The website will then pull up your NFTs from your wallet where you can choose and select an NFT. If you change your mind after selecting an NFT, simply click on the pencil/edit icon and select a new one. Go ahead and fill in all 3 picture frames and then hit the Reveal My Bungalow button.
Step Four: Download Your Bungalow
Now that your bungalow is complete, you can share it with others by displaying it on your Twitter profile. Click the Download Image button to save to your computer and then upload the image to your Twitter account.
You also have the option to Record to Blockchain. If you click this button, it leaves a record on the blockchain – and charges you a gas fee to do so. It’s also important to note that it does not combine your NFTs including your bungalow (you can still sell them separately).
With the evolution of web3 and blockchain technology, we’re sure to keep seeing innovative dApps like this. We are curious to see what other dApps projects may come out within the ever-growing NFT space.
