How To Send ETH And Other Crypto Using The Ledger Live App

Send Crypto Using The Ledger Live App

To get started, visit https://www.ledger.com/start/ to download and install the app if you haven’t done so already. With the Ledger Live app, you can send cryptocurrency from your Ledger to another wallet address.

It’s important to note that when sending assets to another wallet, you need to double-check the address of the receiving wallet. If you send crypto or NFTs to the wrong address, you won’t be able to get anything back.

How To Send ETH From Your Ledger To Another Wallet

In the Ledger Live app, click Send in the left-hand menu and then choose the account that you wish to debit by selecting it from the Account to Debit dropdown.

Next, enter the wallet address you are sending crypto to in the Recipient Address field. Click Continue.

Enter the amount of crypto you’d like to send. You can do this manually or by selecting Send Max to send the entire amount that’s sitting in your account. Choose the gas fee from the options listed and click on Continue.

Next, review the summary and then click on the Continue button.

For this next part, you will need to approve the transaction using your Ledger device. Tap on the two top buttons to open the appropriate crypto app. In this example, we are using the Ethereum app. If you don’t see the appropriate app and need to install it, check out our How To Add An Account To Ledger Live tutorial.

Next, review the address and info displayed on your Ledger. Tap the right button on the top of your Ledger until you see Accept and Send. Tap the top two buttons to accept.

Once the crypto has been sent successfully, you’ll see a confirmation message saying that the transaction has been sent.
