Convert ETH Into WETH Tokens
When you begin buying and selling NFTs, you’ll sometimes need to use WETH to do things like place an offer on an NFT. To complete this transaction, you will need a bit of gas money. In the example below, the gas fee was $6.26USD to wrap 0.35ETH.
How To Wrap ETH Using Your OpenSea Account
In OpenSea, click on the wallet icon in the top right-hand corner of your screen.
Next to your ETH funds, click on the More icon (3 dots) and select Wrap.
Enter the amount of ETH you’d like to convert into WETH. Then, click on the Convert Tokens button.
A small window will pop up. If you’re ok with the gas fee, go ahead and approve it by clicking on the Confirm button.
Once the transaction is done, you’ll be able to see the newly converted WETH in your wallet.
