How to Verify An NFT In Discord Using Collab.Land

Verify Your NFT In Discord For Additional Access

Most NFT projects will ask that you verify your NFTs within their Discord. This grants you special access to things like Discord roles and certain channels that are hidden from non-holders. Projects will also use this verification to give you perks like allow list access, contest entries and more.

How To Use Collab.Land to Verify An NFT

Find the NFT verification channel within the Discord server. This can often be found towards the top near Announcements. It will likely be called something like “verify-ownership” or “nft-verification”.

Click on the Let’s Go button to initiate the Collab.Land verification.

Next, click on the Connect Wallet button that appears. Keep in mind that this link is only valid for a few minutes.

Once you click on the Connect Wallet button, a browser will open up. It is very important to make sure that the URL begins with https://connect.collab.land/ to ensure that it is in fact from Collab.Land.

Select the wallet that is appropriate for you and then click on the Sign Message button.

Your wallet will open in a smaller window. Click on Sign.

If you are using a cold wallet, you will need to manually sign using your cold wallet. If you’re simply using a browser extension (ie, MetaMask Chrome extension) you do not need to do anything after clicking the Sign button.

Your wallet is now connected! You should now see your updated roles and access in Discord.
